I couldn’t find the suitable word in English which expresses paying a meal or drinking for a client.

> Well.. this could be expressed in many different ways:
1. I took our client out for dinner and drinks
2. I had dinner and wine with our client.
3. I bought our client a dinner.
Some dictionary showed entertaining and other one showed wining and dining, but I’m not sure which one is most suitable.

............. wining and dining is a good way to express socializing with other people. This is more on the social gathering as in parties and the likes. For business,
The main purpose of having a dinner or drinking with my clients is becoming familiar with them.

Then, I can make more chances to promote our products to them and they also more willingly buy ours.
> GOOD........ Then I can make/have more chances to promote our products to them and they would be more willing to buy ours.
This is a very important work of sales.

For extreme example, even though our products have fantastic performances, they would not buy them if the client dislikes our company or our salesperson.

On the other hand, if I or my company is close to the researcher or purchaser of our client, they would purchase our products though they are not remarkable
