Korea has a unique style for leasing a house.

However, in Korea, the most common system is “deposit system”.

A tenant deposits some percentage of the total price of the house to the owner for some period.

The regular period is 2 years but it can be controlled after discussion.

For example, if the total price of the house is 10$, ( then - can remve this ) the tenant deposit 2~6% to the owner and then, he can live in the house for 2 years.

In that case, the owner can manage the large amount of the deposit for 2 year and the tenant doesn’t need to pay monthly.
