About North Korea and South Korea
A few days ago , I read a newspaper. It apears that there is a serious situation about the relationship of North Korea and South Korea. Some of North Korea's army crossed the Northern Limit Line (NLL) secretely. NLL is the line limit between the South Korea and North Korea's Yellow Sea. This is why the Korean navy is out there, but the North Korean navy did'n care about that. The North Korean army lunched a missile at the South Korean army, so their ships were a little bit damaged by the missile. Then we attacked the North Korean navy as well. We lunched a 4000 ____ missile as well. Finally they went back their country.
In my opinion they want to know/test the defense of our country.
Actually, battles can happen anywhere, anytime.
NOTE: When introducing names of of countries, the article "the" is often omitted.
TIP: Use the article "the" to introduce names of countries that end in -s
example: the Philippines
the United States
the Bahamas
NOTE: Also when writing, capitalize letters that need to be capitalized, like the first letter of words beginning sentences.
I know you must already be familiar with the rules of capitalization.
since in a way this is a writing class, I want you to apply the different rules and concepts of English still so as not to forget them. ^-^
NOTE: South Korea
North Korea
>These are made up of two words. Capitalize the begining of the words as they are proper nouns.
NOTE: Navy- A nation's entire military organization for sea warfare and defense, including vessels, personnel, and shore establishments.
Army- The entire military land forces of a country.
>In this case use navy as it was a battle that ensued at sea.
